The “Seat Bell” is a cheap aftermarket product that is designed to increase seat belt use. It does this by indicating to the driver that the passenger has buckled their seat belt, and to create an audible sound that the passenger will get used to hearing when they buckle their seat belt, which will reinforce the habit.
Bells must be placed out of reach of young children.
First, place the bell on the first glue dot, and press firmly. Once you have pressed for a few seconds, slowly pull both the bell and the first glue dot from the paper. (This step may require extra manipulation of the glue dot to remove it from the paper successfully.) Repeat the process on the second glue dot.
Congratulations! You have assembled the Seat Bell! Remember it is easily replaceable. Now place the seat bell on the buckle, making sure that it doesn’t inhibit the belt. Press firmly for a few seconds, making sure the glue holds the bell steady.
Now you’re ready to use the Seat Bell! When you’re first getting used to listening for or using the seat bell, write yourself a reminder so you’re sure to remember to check the first few times! Drive safe and remember seat belts save lives!
